Visa Formalities
As there is no much formalities to receive Nepali visa. As one can get the Nepali visa upon arrival at the Kathmandu airport or in at every entry border to Nepal. They just have to have 6 months valid passport and two passport size photographs with a light background. Visa can be obtained only through payment of cash in the following currency: Euro, Swiss Franc, Pound Sterling, US dollar, Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, Hong-kong dollar, Singapore dollar and Japanese Yen.
Credit Card, Indian currency or Nepalese currency are not accepted for payment of Visa fee. However, national of following countries given below cannot get visa on arrival at Immigration entry points of Nepal:

They need to obtain visa from Nepalese Embassies or Diplomatic Missions in their respective countries prior to their visit to Nepal. Rest of all national can get visa on arrival.

SAARC National need not to pay visa fee on arrival which is free called Gratis Visa. Children below 10 years don’t need to pay visa fee.
FOR INDIAN NATIONALS
Indian nationals don’t require visa to enter into Nepal. As per the Nepalese Immigration, Indian Nationals Traveling to Nepal must possess any One of the following documents:
- Passport
- Election Commission Card with Photo
